Auction Rules

Our one-of-one auctions are simple, but bids are real commitments. By placing a bid you agree to these rules.

1. Bids are binding

Your max bid is a promise to pay up to that amount if you win. You can raise your max, but you can't lower or withdraw it.

2. Automatic bidding

We bid for you, only as much as needed to keep you on top, up to your max. Only you can see your max. If two bidders set the same max, the one who bid first wins.

3. Reserve

An auction may have a hidden minimum price. The page shows “Reserve not met” until it's reached. If it isn't reached, the piece doesn't sell and nobody is charged.

4. Late bids extend the clock

Any bid in the last 2 minutes adds 2 minutes, so everyone gets a fair chance to respond.

5. Winning and paying

When the auction ends, the winner's saved card is charged the final price automatically. If that charge fails, the winner has 24 hours to pay on the auction page. After that, the piece is offered to the next highest bidder at their max bid, and they have 48 hours to accept. Nobody else is charged.

6. One of one, in your colors

The winner picks the color of every part, printed in PLA Basic. We match each color to the closest filament we can source and email swatch photos for your approval before we print.

7. Shipping

Shipping is free within the United States. Your piece ships 8 to 14 business days after you approve the swatches. We currently ship auction pieces to US addresses only.

8. Returns

Because every auction piece is made once, in the colors you chose, there are no returns or exchanges. If it arrives damaged, contact us with photos within 7 days and we'll repair or replace it.

9. Cancellation

Happi Buffalo may cancel an auction at any time before it ends. If we do, nobody is charged.

10. Eligibility and fair play

You must be 18 or older and use one account per person. We may remove bids or bidders we believe are fake or placed to push up the price.
